Heating & Boilers · Greater Vancouver
A combi boiler heats your home and makes hot water on demand from one compact, wall-hung unit. It frees up the space a separate boiler and tank take, which makes it a common choice for townhouses, condos and smaller houses.
Combis suit homes where one or two showers run at the same time. Because hot water is made as you use it, a large household running several showers at once may be better served by a heating boiler with an indirect hot water tank. We look at your hot water use, your heating load and your gas supply, then recommend what fits.
Many homes have an older boiler plus a separate hot water tank. Replacing both with one high-efficiency combi can free up floor space and remove a tank that would need replacing anyway. The new unit is sized to the heat loss of the home, not just matched to the old one.
Mounting the combi, new venting, the gas connection and condensate drain, connecting your existing radiators or in-floor loops, and setting up the controls. Then commissioning: purging air, checking combustion, and setting hot water and heating temperatures.
Gas work needs a permit in BC, and strata owners must use a licensed contractor. Everything is set out in a written quote first.
